Summer Reading, AP & Dual Credit Assignments

AP Summer Workshop

 

When: July 12th, 9 a.m-11 a.m. (Could end earlier)

Where: MHS Cafeteria

Who: Any AP U.S. Government, AP Psychology and/or AP World History student for the school year 2017/18

 

Please join your fellow classmates and teachers for a morning that will put your mind at ease about your upcoming AP class(es).   We will discuss how to manage an AP class, give an overview of the basics of an AP exam (question type and writing expectations), how taking an AP class benefits your college experience, and allow for time to breakout into specific subject areas to address summer assignment questions and answer any other questions you might have about your upcoming AP class.  

 

We look forward to meeting with you. (This is not a mandatory meeting)

There is still time to register for the Mehlville School District’s Summer Accelerationprogram, which gives elementary, middle and high school students the opportunity to strengthen the academic skills they have as well as to explore new educational activities.

Summer Acceleration is a Monday through Friday program, beginning June 5th and ending June 30th.  The program is open to all residents of the Mehlville School District and there is no cost to attend.  The free and reduced lunch program is available for families who qualified for the program during the regular school year.
