Tryouts for Spring Sports will begin on Monday, March 2, 2020.  Water Polo begins on Monday, February 24, 2020.  In order to participate in a sport, every student needs to have on file in the Athletic Office:


·         Physical dated after 6/1/18 (physicals are good for 2 years)

·         5-page physical packet completely filled out and signed (due each school year)

·         $50.00 Athletic Fee (cash, check or on-line through your portal)


You will receive a participation card once all the forms and athletic fee are received.  If you played another sport this school year, you just need to stop by the Athletic Office and pick up a new participation card.  You must have this card in order to try out.  No card will be issued if you have an athletic fine.



Juniors & Seniors: Interested in future career at Boeing? There will be a field trip on March 11 to the Center for Workforce Innovation where we will explore the Boeing Pre-Employment Training options. Students will observe the various career opportunities within the accelerated job training and professional development program at Boeing. This trip is open to the first 25 MHS/OHS juniors and seniors who sign up. To get on the list you must pick up the field trip permission form and return it to the MHS Counseling Center. See Mrs. Neighbors if you have questions. 3/6



During TAP on February 24, Staff Sergeant Mosley from the US Marine Corps will be presenting on the opportunities the Marine Corps has to offer our students. The presentation will focus on the different careers available to recruits as well as scholarships and other educational opportunities they have to offer. Student Parking:  MHS is sold out for parking this year.  Some local businesses rent parking spaces, however MHS is not affliated with those businesses.  If your student is parking at a business, please make sure they have secured an agreement with that facility.  Unauthorized parked vehicles are subject to being towed at that vehicle’s owner’s expense.
