For June 2020

Hello! Yearbooks will be shipped to homes in mid-June. In the meantime get all your friends' signatures!

We are excited to announce that the Mehlville High School yearbook signing tradition is alive and it’s fully digital to suit our socially distanced students.

Jostens has just launched a new platform, Yearbook Digital Signing Pages, that gives every student in our school the chance to create virtual signing pages, invite their friends to leave messages, and print out the final pages to keep with the yearbook as a permanent keepsake. This is free for every student whether they purchased a yearbook or not.

You can use the link below to get started with your yearbook signing.

AP Testing Update

With the closure of schools across the country, the AP Program has made the decision to shift the way exams will be administered in 2020. All decisions about AP testing have not been finalized, but here is what we know as of March 24: All exams are a 45-minute online free-response exam and will be taken at home. NO paper-pencil exams will be offered at schools. The content covered for each exam is reduced. Your AP teacher will know content changes for your specific course. For each AP subject, there will be 2 different testing dates. Students can choose to take the exam either earlier or later (test dates will be released by April 3rd). Thank you for your patience, as we continue to learn more, we will provide further updates.

Remote Learning During Extended Closure

The goal during the next two weeks is to provide both enrichment as well as review opportunities to students to complete at home. The curriculum department will be providing access to digital resources through your student’s Clever sign-on as well as print copies of activities in grades K-5.

  • You can find all the K-5 digital and printable materials following this link,
  • Students in grades 6-12 will continue to utilize Google Classroom as the preferred communication platform for accessing resources.

During this time, we know that routines, schedules and consistency are important concepts that allow families to feel a sense of normalcy, even when many things are abnormal. As a family member, you are encouraged to create schedules that work best for you and for your family.

The Mothers Club’s Savers FUNDrive is pushed back to June 13th and 20th for now (originally 3/28 and 4/4).
