We want you and your child to have a positive experience this school year. At Mehlville High School we believe in ensuring high levels of learning and collaboration for all. This means we want each student and staff member at MHS to come prepared to learn and grow everyday. We also know the value of effective collaboration in today’s world and want to foster the strong communication skills needed to prepare students for the future. Our core values are Inclusivity, Relationships, Respect, and Responsibility. Our goal is for every Panther to model these traits, both at school and in the community.

We have an exciting update to share with you about the 22-23 school year! We have restructured our principal and counseling offices in a way that will allow us to best serve our students. Going forward, students will be assigned to principals and counselors by last name. This will allow for more personalized support for each student. The graphic below shows who your child’s principal and counselor are for this year. If you have any questions in the coming weeks, please reach out to them using the contact information at the end of this email.

Panther nation

Panther Nation is our new family, teacher, student, and community booster organization, and we want all of our families to be active members! All families are automatically members, but we want you to be active and help us grow! The mission of Panther Nation is to facilitate a closer connection between school and home through enhanced communication, collaboration, and involvement and support the academic and activity needs of our students. There will be an informational table at Open House and an opportunity to purchase a Panther Nation t-shirt.

Fall sports begin today, Monday, August 8. More fall sports information is available at

Breakfast & Lunch Information
Mehlville School District offers breakfast and lunch for students each day. For the past two years, our School Food and Nutrition Services staff has been able to offer free meals to all students through a waiver from the U.S. Department of Agriculture. That waiver expired at the conclusion of last school year. Students will now have to pay for school breakfast and lunch.

Mehlville School District participates in the National School Lunch and Breakfast Programs, which allows families to apply for free and reduced meal benefits.

Meal prices for this school year are as follows:

Paid: $2.00
Reduced Price: $0.30

Paid: $3.00
