*Attention Students in Dual Credit Courses: Please check with your dual credit teachers and university websites regarding sign up deadlines for your spring semester courses. Each university has a different deadline for enrollment and it is your responsibility to make sure you have enrolled on time. 


*Attention Dual Credit & AP Students: The Dual Credit/AP Exam Scholarship Application is now available in the Counseling Center and on the Counseling Website. All applications are due by February 1 for consideration by the scholarship committee. See Mrs. Neighbors if you have any questions.


Attention AP Students: You can now sign up for AP testing in the counseling office. Please stop by to pick up the AP registration form from Mrs. Raney. The forms will be due no later than March 14th. If you have any questions please stop by to see Mrs. Hellwig.



AP Studio Art applications are up in the hall on the 3rd floor between Mrs. Sutton's room and the boys RR. There is also a classroom page for students who are interested, to join for more information. The code is:aymdhsb



Yearbook senior baby ads are due January 31.  Please let your parents know about this great opportunity to honor your high school graduation!  Ads are made online and paid for online at or call 1-800-358-0800.  


Variety Show Auditions:  Like to SING, DANCE, ACT, PLAY INSTRUMENTS, OR PERFORM?

Audition for the Mehlville High School Variety Show on January 24 OR January 28 from 2:20-5:00 PM in Nottelmann Auditorium.  Open to ALL MHS Students.  The Variety Show will be Saturday, February 9th at 7 PM.  Contact Mrs. Olson for details:



MHS Spring Dual Credit/Advanced Placement Exam Scholarship 

The Spring Dual Credit/Advanced Placement Exam Scholarship application is now available, Each scholarship will cover 3 credit hours of one course OR one AP Exam. Deadline to apply in February 1, 2019.  Please stop by the Counseling office for an application.

  • Parent Notes: Please remember that outside lunches, flowers, balloons and other items are not allowed to be delivered to MHS for students by you or others.Thank you in advance for your cooperation!
  • Absences: If your student is absent from school, please call the attendance line to report their absence at 314-467-6020. Please state and spell your name, your student's name, their grade level, and the date(s) they are absent. Thank you.
  • Early Dismissals: Parents, if your student has an early dismissal, please remember to call the attendance office ahead of time so that your student will be able to leave on time as needed.
  • School Closings Due to Inclement Weather: The School Reach phone obtained through the district internet site at in an alert box at the top of the page. Additionally, you may tune in to TV channel 5, channel 4, channel 2 and 1120 or 20 AM Radio.

Student Parking:  MHS is sold out for parking this year.  Some local businesses rent parking spaces, however MHS is not affliated with those businesses.  If your student is parking at a business, please make sure they have secured an agreement with that facility.  Unauthorized parked vehicles are subject to being towed at that vehicle’s owner’s expense.
