January 26, 10;00 a.m-3:00 p.m.--Summer Opportunity Fair--The 2019 Students and Teachers as Research Scientist (STARS) Program will have an information booth to speak to interested students and parents.  If you are a junior level student who is interested in a college major in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, or computer science and is interested in working on a research problem, please stop by the fair.

The audition committee is made up of faculty members in the student's area of performance.  Each audition concludes with an informal interview that gives the student an opportunity to meet with faculty to discuss with them their interests and goals.

February 10, 2019, 9:30 a.m.-4 p.m.--Webster University Winter Dance Workshop--High School aged students at an intermediate/advanced level are invited to participate in four technique classes taught by Webster's Department of Dance faculty as well as enjoy lunch and discuss college life.  
Tuition for the event is $110.00 and includes lunch.

February 16, 2019, 1-5:00 PM--St. Louis Brain Bee--Brain Bee is a neuroscience competition for those in grades 9-12.  This competition allows students to read through cutting edge science materials.  If you win the Brain Bee, you'll be awarded a summer research fellowship at Washington University, along with an all-expense paid trip to Washington D.C. to participate in the National Brain Bee.

February 17-18--University of Tulsa Overnight Visit Program--Spend 24 hours living the TU lifestyle!  Tour the campus, residence halls, and the city of Tulsa.  Attend a class, visit with faculty, learn about campus life from a TU student panel.  Sleep overnight in a TU residence hall or campus apartment.

February 17, 12:30 p.m.--The University of Tulsa Theatre/Musical Theatre Auditions--The University of Tulsa Department of Theatre is happy to award scholarships to talented and enthusiastic artists.  They do not require auditions to be admitted to the program, but if you are seeking a scholarship in a performance or technical area, you will need to audition or interview.  Auditions are open to all incoming freshman and transfer students.  While at the audition, you and your family will have the opportunity to meet faculty and current students, tour the facilities and campus, and meet with an admission counselor.

March 5, 6-7:30 p.m.--A+ Information Night at STLCC--This event is designed for students who are planning to use their A+ scholarship at St. Louis Community College.  Students will learn about degree programs and transfer options, including CORE 42, receive details on how to use the A+ scholarship at St. Louis Community and much more.

March 8, 2019--State Tech Junior Preview Day--Students will tour campus, enjoy a free lunch, and learn about State Tech programs and opportunities. State Tech will be giving away a tuition waiver to one lucky student.

March 18-22--The Black College Bus Tour
--Omicron Eta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. works closely with Historically Black Colleges and Universities to develop the Black College Bus Tour. The Black College Bus tour gives college bound high school students the opportunity to tour selected historically black colleges and universities. The students will tour the campus, meet with admissions representatives and collect materials to help evaluate each school.

March 30, State Tech Open House--Open house provides students and family members the opportunity to visit the main campus in Linn, MO.  While on campus you will interact with current students alumni, and faculty, and see our state-of-the-art equipment and facilities.  Accuplacer testing and Bennett Mechanical written testing will be offered at the Open House event. Students interested in testing must sign up in advance and will be required to bring the $20 test fee and a photo ID.

April 8,--Juniors Exploring Engineering at Purdue--Please join the Women in Engineering Program for your college campus visit to Purdue University and enjoy a comprehensive engineering expereience!  Connect with engineering students and staff while campus is active.  Hear from Admissions, Office of Future Engineers and Academic Departments.  Tour campus and residence halls.
This program is geared toward women in their junior year of high school.
