Panther Families,

August might have only had 10 school days, but we accomplished a lot at MHS! We kicked-off day one with a welcome-back pep rally, and teachers spent time preparing their students for the upcoming school year. This included reviewing classroom procedures and setting goals for the fall semester. I had the opportunity to visit many of our classrooms and saw some truly amazing things happening. Teachers were already building strong relationships and diving into the curriculum.
As we enter September, students are beginning to receive assignments, and you have the ability to monitor their progress through your Campus Portal account. I encourage you to ask your student about their classes and what they are learning each day.
September is also packed with fall events, and I hope to see you at MHS for one of them! The fall sports season kicks off with several activities this week, including a home soccer game on Thursday, September 5th, against OHS.
And don't forget to mark your calendar for the fall musical, "SIX: Teen Edition." Auditions were last week, and the cast and crew are already hard at work preparing for what promises to be a great show. There are plenty of other opportunities to support our Panthers this fall, and we hope to see you there!
Dr. Landherr
