Summer Opportunities

2022 Summer Venture in Business at KU,  pre-college academy, apply beginning Feb. 1,  The program is a pre-college summer academy at the KU School of Business for underrepresented ethnic minority students in high school and/or potential first-generation college students who are interested in business.  Rising 10th-, 11th- and 12th-grade students will learn about aspects of the college experience both in and out of the classroom. In addition to introducing participants to business topics, Summer Venture aims to equip students with the tools and knowledge for how to apply to the university, succeed in college, and prosper in their careers. All participants will receive a scholarship that covers the general cost of the program.

Students must be in the 9th or 10th grade with at a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher, and enrolled or have completed Algebra.
