SEMO’s Virtual Exploration Week Oct 26-29  Students and parents can chat with the deans of our colleges, professors from numerous academic departments, and representatives from various student support and involvement groups to get a better idea about what life at SEMO looks like.  Explore Events 

University of Central Missouri Discover Central Day (Virtual)  Oct. 26th to Oct. 29th.  School of Technology sessions are included in the Day 3 Sessions on Oct. 28th at 5:00 pm. learn about the programs offered at UCM including our program, Design & Drafting Technology, one of the largest accredited CADD programs in the nation with paid summer internship opportunities for our highly in-demand students

Fontbonne EVENTS,

Oct 27 Twilight Tuesday, Bring your family to campus for Twilight Tuesday.  Outdoor visit will include a tour of campus and presentation from admissions staff as well as current students.  You will have a chance to learn about Fontbonne’s admission process, financial and opportunities and life on campus.

Nov 7 Visit campus on a Saturday.  

Nov 10 FAFSA FRENZY, Over Zoom, Admission counselors are here to help.  FAFSA opens on Oct 1.  The sooner you can submit your application, the more likely you are not not miss out on any federal and state grant funding. 

Nov 11 For students, by students.  Chat virtually with current Fontbonne students and get your questions answered.  This event is for prospective students only.  

NOV 19 Test Flight Test your wings and see how you can Soar Higher. You will hear from admissions counselors, faculty, and financial aid.  Open to all prospective students and parents.  Some Test Flights are offered in-person and some are virtual so be sure to check the individual event for location information.

SLU's Virtual Local Admission Interview Evenings,  November 8th, 1:00 – 4:00 pm, November 19th, 5:00 – 8:00 pm  Admission interviews are a great way to help personalize a student’s application, and help them stand out! If you have students who are interested in SLU, and haven’t done an admission interview already,     link for students to register

MEGA Visit Invitation, Nov 10, Nov 23, 6:15-7:00 pm. Kansas State University, Missouri State University, University of Alabama, University of Kentucky, and University of Missouri-Columbia are teaming up to offer 5 MEGA visits.  After registering, students will receive the log in information for the Zoom. Each visit will run from 6:15-7:00pm. We’ll give a brief welcome, then each University will speak for 5 minutes about important information, upcoming deadlines, scholarships, popular programs and more. After that, we’ll wrap up with a Kahoot game for a chance to win some MEGA prizes from our institutions!

Partnered with Peter Van Buskirk to provide a "behind the scenes" look at how colleges are dealing with the admission process during a national crisis - COVID-19. A 25-year veteran of the college admission process, Peter Van Buskirk is dedicated to helping families find student-centered solutions in college planning. Over the past several weeks, Peter has been interviewing deans of admission at institutions around the country.  These interviews lend families further perspective on how specific colleges—and higher education in general—are responding to the coronavirus.
